Less than a week after buying new speakers for my computer I am again soundless.

Yup, bored kitties have eaten the electrical wire on my new speakers, again. Hopefully, I can replace just the cord this time. Or maybe the new puppy will just eat the kitty. 8-)

Yes, the kitties are bored again.

After eating the power cord on my DSL twice last year, I thought they had given up on chewing on electrical wires. Guess I was wrong.

In the past month they have chewed through the recharging power cords on two cell phones and then ate the cord on my computer speakers, again! Replacing these cords is getting expensive.

But I will have my revenge! (bwahaha)

Yesterday, my room mate showed up with a puppy! (She followed me into work, can I keep her?) Well, my 'girls' aren't quite sure what to make of the puppy which, at about 4 months old, is just a little larger than they are. They stayed mostly in my bedroom until my roomy took the new-comer to bed.

Hmmmmm, I think we're going to call her Sable.

CBS has a new show starting on Friday night. It's called 'Moonlight.' Does the show description sound sorta familiar to anyone else?

"A private detective who also happens to be a vampire, wrestles with the complications of being immortal, his enemies and his love for a mortal woman."

I guess 'Hollywood' recycles everything. Maybe they should have just said "He helps the helpless." *snerk*

I've about decided I hate cats.

I am owned by two of the little fur balls. Most of the time they act like sweet little kitties but that's just to hide their diabolical plotting.

For the second time in as many months these little 'innocents' have eaten through the DSL power cord. How they've managed to do this without shocking themselves into an early grave is beyond me. *sigh* Well, this time I got a flex tube to cover the cord so, hopefully, this will put an end to their plot to have my undivided attention at all waking hours.

S**t!!! Two o'clock in the morning, I'm sitting in the den reading fic on the comp, look up and there is a FACE looking in the window at me! Can you say heart attack in the making?

Yelled at my room mate and called 911 immediately. Police showed up in less than 10 minutes but, of course, said face had departed, probably over the back fence. Needless to say, I won't be getting any sleep tonight!
